A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S HOLLOW
A Midsummer Night’s Hollow, has been created to bring delight and enchantment to our faerie and fairy loving customers. Art prints, original paintings, fairy sculpted dolls, and some unique clothing designed by artist Anna Denise Podhaski (that's me) are featured items. This year’s booth and website will also feature beautiful jewelry designs by Sarah Scott, along with her wishing wands and charming woodland hair sticks. Inaddition, this year we will have a variety of Celtic Windsor porcelain necklaces, and keep sakes, among other enchanting and fun fairy items. FAIRY WOODLAND
Fairy Woodland sprang into being one warm spring evening when the Garden Fairies asked artist John Curtis Crawford to build a house for them. He selected twigs and stones and formed them into a sturdy cottage which he placed under a tree, next to the pond where he knew the Fairies liked to visit. A friend saw it and immediately begged to have one made for her. The word spread, and now homes and gardens from New York to Hawaii, England and France to Australia, have sprouted Fairy Houses that were carefully handcrafted in John's magical workshop. The Fairy Houses quickly enchanted others and Fairy Woodland became a family affair. John's wife, Bridget Wolfe, an avid gardener, began creating miniature landscape environments for the houses. She now also writes down the stories the Fairies tell about each of the houses.
